The Lamplighter
Landmark Initiative is unlike anything your
school has ever tried before. The
Lamplighter Landmark Initiative (LLI) is an effort
spearheaded by Mark Hamby of Lamplighter Publishing
designed to encourage and inspire Christian schools.
Having been a Christian school administrator, Mark
has a strong personal desire to see Christian
schools excel spiritually, academically, and
financially. The LLI is a program that we believe
accomplishes all three things, with minimal hassle
and difficulty.
Here
is how the Lamplighter Landmark program can benefit
your school:
Spiritually: If you are at all familiar with Lamplighter book titles you are
already familiar with the spiritual power of these
books. Very few can read one of these books and
remain unchanged and unchallenged spiritually. The
LLI is more than just a fundraiser!
Academically: Lamplighter books have a well-documented way of turning nominal, even
non-readers, into avid readers. Just try to put one
down before finishing it!
Financially: The Lamplighter Landmark Initiative has the
potential to generate needed operating
funds for your school. 40% of the total sales are
kept by the school!
IT’S SIMPLE…
It
is simple to participate in the Lamplighter
Landmark Initiative! Initial pilot
programs have proven the simplicity and ease of this
program. Here is how it works:

Each student will receive a Lamplighter
catalog that lists and describes Lamplighter books
(our 8-page catalog). This packet also contains
other helpful materials they can use in talking
about these books.

Students contact family, friends, neighbors
about Lamplighter books.

For every book purchased through the
students, the school will receive 40% of the total
profits. Please note that we do not inflate our
prices for this program. The prices listed in each
catalog are our standard retail prices. (The cost to ship the books to you will be deducted from your profit.)
IT’S
PROFITABLE…
The earning potential is real and possible with this
program. For example:

If 20 students
sell 10 books each the school will receive approximately $1,300.
-
If 100
students sell only 5 books per student, the school
would receive approximately $3,200.
-
If 500
students sell only 2 books each, the school would
receive $6,000 or if they each sold 5 books, the
school would receive approximately $16,000!
IT’S
MINISTRY!
While the financial
advantage is appealing, the primary motivation for
participating in this program is the spiritual
impact it will have upon our culture and the
opportunity for students to engage in life-changing
ministry. Students for example will be able to
write letters to shut-ins and elderly as a follow up
to the books they purchased. This may then lead to
an invitation to a school program or a special
occasion at church. You will find that Lamplighter
books are a powerful tool for follow up conversation
and possible future support for your school—a
Lamplighter book is the perfect gift that will
compliment your mission of building Christ-like
character one story at a time.

the fall and once in the spring. If you are
