Sexual Sins
Here are some thoughts. Remind your son that Jesus carried the stigma of illegitimacy around with him his whole life. Even when He was 33 they were still bringing up the fact that he was born in fornication. Joseph and Mary also carried a similar stigma. Joseph of the Old Testament was falsely accused of raping someone's wife, and yet through all of this adversity God used him greatly to deliver others. God's strengths work best in our weakness. Never the other way around. Help your son to find his passions and then cultivate his skills in connection to these passions. Once there is skill, he must then turn this into revenue which will serve as a reward for his skill and passion. Most important will be your prayers for him…pray that God will raise mentors up whom he can work for; to surround him at school, to become his future wife. Tell him that the revelation of his sin is God's mercy to help him get on the path that was designed from the beginning. Unfortunately, most Christians/people spend most of their lives hiding their sin and wearing the mask that keeps them from being known or knowing others. Lastly, I implore you to immediately read the book “True Faced.” Tell you son from me, that I beg him to start read this book immediately, I promise that this book will significantly impact his life and yours…or anyone who reads it. One of our staff is reading it, and she said it is breathtaking! Another lady who was raped is having the same experience reading the book. You may have difficulty finding the book at book store but if you can't find it you can view it on our web or contact the Lamplighter toll free number at 1-888-246-7735.
Well my friend, God is able. Nothing too difficult for Him Jeremiah 32:17. Simple steps of obedience is all that is needed. The rest will follow!
All because of Him,
