abundant love
To be misunderstood is always painful. The Apostle Paul understood this pain when he said, “The more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.” True love is tested when we are misunderstood. Whether our spouse our children, or our friends, loving others always carries risk; a risk that uncovers the real depth of our love. If real it will be demonstrated in forgiveness, mercy, grace, and humility.

To abundantly love....I know I cannot abundantly love unless I come to the complete end of myself, to give all up for those God has brought to me to love...to love out of risk, humility forgiveness..!!, mercy AND grace...certainly cant do it alone, but very necessary to come to the place we can love out of a heart that is willing to partner with our Father, .....from a devotional recently read.." As divinely appointed citizens of the Kingdom of God, we are foreigners in the kingdom of this world. We are real characters in the real story of redemtive history in real space and real time who have been summoned to follow the King of kings as servants, saints, and soldiers-coram Deo, before His face, in life and death. Augustine understood this well: 'We want to reach the kingdom of God, but we dont want to travel by way of death. And yet there stands necessity saying: "This way please. Do not hesitate, man, to go this way, when this is the way that God came to you.'".(Tabletalk, Burk Parsons)
We dont have to go it alone, He never asked us to...we couldnt do it if He had not paved the way first...to love along with Christ...I think I can do that.
