Mark's Blog

"We who preach & write, do so in a manner different from which the Scriptures have been written. We write while we make progress. We learn something new every day. We speak as we still knock for understanding…If anyone criticizes me when I have said what is right, he does me an injustice. But I would be more angry with the one who praises me and takes what I have written for Gospel truth than I would be with the one who criticizes me unfairly." Augustine

A Powerful Lesson from ER

A number of people called our attention to this clip from the popular TV series ER. It really is amazing for secular televison. The "Fair Use" law allows us to teach from it without violating copyright laws. Please send it all over the internet.

from Nancy DeMoss, "You know, people are desperate for forgiveness. They’re desperate to find a way to be free from the guilt, to have a clear conscience—to be able to sleep at night and know that there’s nothing between them and God, and nothing between them and other people.

When we don’t have a clear conscience, when we have a guilty conscience, it affects us not only spiritually, but it affects us mentally and emotionally as well."

Do those that need to forgive others realize that is also affects them emotionally, mentally and spiritually and as well as their loved ones including their children?
