Word Is Out

"We who preach and write, do so in a manner different from which the Scriptures have been written. We write while we make progress. We learn something new every day. We speak as we still knock for understanding...If anyone criticizes me when I have said what is right, he does me an injustice. But I would be more angry with the one who praises me and takes what I have written for Gospel truth than I would be with the one who criticizes me unfairly. Augustine

Deep Waters

Passing this on from a friend...wonderful wisdom!

Hello Mark,

This is from the Proverbs 18 commentary on vs. 4.

May God bless your work for Him this week and grant you favor with those
whom you work and do business.

18:4 -- Deep water is calm, even in storms, and often full of life.
Pro_16:22 Pro_20:5 Mat_12:34 Joh_7:38 Artesian wells flowed freely
from pressure deep within the earth so the analogy given here is that wisdom
freely flowing can only occur in someone with depth of life. Pro_10:11
Pro_13:14 They share out of abundance not for self interest. Col_3:16
Col_4:6 Flowing brooks have a calming sound and a serene beauty. Deep
waters both receive from and provide for flowing brooks. Stagnancy must be
avoided.

May God guard our hearts in His Word,

Dan
