Please pray

I have tried not to use my blog for personal prayer request, but I believe this is warranted. I do realize that so many go through so many trials that are greater than I can imagine, so please know that I am not trying to be selective but there is something I believe we can learn from the Tracey. For those who don't know what is happening, Chris Klicka, homeschool speaker and author, father of seven, and husband to Tracey, is dying currently away from home in Colorado Springs. He collapsed after flying to CO for homeschooling event. Chris has suffered with MS for several years now, but was doing much better this past year. Just a few days after attending the conference, Chris's life hangs in the balances. He has chosen not to extend his life through artificial life support and is resting with his wife by his side, and family and friends nearby staying in friends home, with hospice care, in the Springs.  Please pray for them, especially as his son is flying today to see his dad.  Below is Tracey's letter this morning…it is precious to read:

THIS IS THE AIR I BREATHE...YOUR HOLY PRESENCE LIVING IN ME

6am--As I write, I'm listening to Michael W. Smith's worship song, "Breathe." For those of you up with me right now, I wanted to give just a short update and ask you to pray for Chris...

He's been sleeping pretty good through the night, but early in the morning now has developed some more phlegm in his throat. He's trying to cough a little now and then and is still able to sleep mostly through the congestion in the back of his throat, but it would be good to be able to get some of that phlegm out of the back of his throat if possible.

Please pray that the suction machine would either work to bring relief (which I just tried using but doesn't seem to be the right thing to use--his congestion is too far back, I think, to use the suction tube), or that God would just supernaturally enable Chris to swallow this mucousy congestion down into his stomach.

John is just about to leave Dallas and arrives into CO Springs around 10am. I so want John to see his daddy and for them to connect with each other.

Please also pray for a young man named Koban, who after an accident left him paralyzed, is hoping and praying that the Lord would bring strength to his limbs…please also pray for his mom and dad…they are carrying quite the weight…"May Jesus return today!"
