Pyramid of greatness

I first learned about John Wooden during his years of basketball coaching, I think was UCLA…he was one of the most successful coaches ever. But his influence went beyond coaching and everyone seemed to be asking him his secrets of success. Several years ago, he wrote a children's book on character and I found that he was able to translate his world view for children. When someone can do this, you know that it is good for adults. His world view has now been written in the form of a pyramid. I think we will all benefit from reading and putting these foundation stones into practice…By the way, this is his 99th birthday!
